The shop has been restocked potion-wise and a winter store that includes new and exclusive items is now open and can be checked out here. This means that current members are free to purchase and submit additional characters at any time hence forth, until further notice.

As a general reminder, please re-familiarise yourself with our Character Creations Journal, as following the guidelines will help make the process of admission smoother and faster for everyone!

Finally, if you haven’t already, we’d like to encourage members to make sure that your apps are updated and reflect the change of new year on your applications (ie; 4th years to 5th from our earlier September turnover). App art and bio updates are not mandatory however, but it would be great to learn a little bit about how your kids are progressing.

Hello all! We’re excited to announce a little bit of wintertime fun! We’ll be having a Secret Santa. Im sure by now most of you have an idea of what a Secret Santa is so we’ll crack on with the details;

Wish-list
You may write out up to three things in your wish-list but the artist is only required to complete one. This is mainly so that they can remain a bit flexible, but of course, your best effort is expected.

Due dates
Pieces may be submitted anywhere between the 25th of December to the 1st of January


Backup Artist
In the unfortunate case that an assigned artist is unable to compete their SS in the allotted time period, this person will be there to step in and take on their responsibility.
If you accept, you will be required to finish your piece in a much shorter period of time than the rest, as well as your own (If you've signed up for it) *but will receive bonus points for your submission on top of the event bonus!


SS's will be delivered to each of you via note by the 25th November That gives you a whole month to get something done!

Please only sign up if you can fulfil the requirements, (make sure to put in your best effort for these, play to your strengths) as well as keep your SS a Secret until the reveal date !

We’re ecstatic to announce that this journal marks the beginning of Kwidditch’s 2017 Halloween event! We have been working on this event since the start of September so we sincerely hope you enjoy the games and roleplays we have in store for you!

The event will run from now till the 31st of October

To make things easier for everyone we have created a Halloween Mastersheet which includes all of the carnival games, currency tracker and all of the event shops.

There will also be a mod-led event on the 27th-28th of October

I’m delighted to announce that we are opening applications for one full-time mod position and two part-time mod positions!

The individual who gets accepted for a full-time mod position will take on a ‘Head of House’ position, while the two part-time mods will take on the positions of Head-Boy and Head-Girl. At the end of the year an individual can step down from the Head-Boy or Head-Girl position if they wish.

PLEASE NOTE:

Please only apply for these positions if you have the free time needed to help run the group.

Please do not discuss if you are applying or not in the Kwidditch Server Chats. We want to keep this as anonymous as possible. We won’t be disclosing to anyone who has applied, only those who are accepted.

Those who are accepted for Head-Boy and Head-girl will have to make new characters every year as these ocs will have to be in 7th year. Individuals accepted will be given a free main character slot to do this.

Under no circumstances should members make new characters / discuss new characters for these positions, in private or in the Kwidditch discord. Do not plan/hc/etc for this position until you are accepted with the position.

Hello! This is a small announcement for the prospective members out there,

There is currently only two more days left for Application Checks. We would recommend getting one, just to be safe and assure you a higher chance of getting accepted, but they are in no way compulsory!

The application does not need to be fully completed to receive an app check, as just the written portion will be enough.

To send in an app check, just pop us a note with a link to your app! Please be patient with us, though, as we're all currently busy with life and event related things.

And as a notice, if you've sent in your application for a check before the 21 of August, you will still receive one, even if it's after the 21!

We do have a little housekeeping to be addressed for those of you already in the group;

• Be aware that when we progress to the next school year, we do expect your app sheets to reflect this. We expect all of you to change the year on your app to the subsequent one ie, a 6th year would become 7th year etc.
  
  • Graduating students will be moved to a separate “Graduates” folder.

• We would like to direct you to the [ Activity Check Journal ]. This is a compulsory activity if you wish to remain in the group.

• As far as the matter of the House Cup goes, this year we decided to collect housepoints for the year 2016/17 during the ‘Summer’ as well as we started late on. The House Cup will be announced on the 1st of September. In following years, we do expect to announce the winning house at the end of the school year.

Hello everyone, our first event is over. Thank you again for all of you that participated. All submissions related to Chapter 1’s event will receive the bonus point until the end of May. Following this you’re more than welcome to submit art, however it will be graded as normal!

We would like to give you all a wee reminder that our first event will be held this coming weekend on both Saturday and Sunday 20th & 21st starting at 7PM GMT. This event will be run in the discord chat so if you havent yet joined it, please do check it out!

One last note, the Beantique will close once the mod led event starts on Saturday 20th. If you want to make your purchases, please do so before this point.

Hello all, we would like to say that App Checks are now officially Closed! To those who have sent their app check in already, we are looking over them and will get back to you on them ASAP.

We have just over a day left for Join requests as they will be closing at Midnight of the 2nd of April (GMT). If you sent in an app check please do remember to send in a join request! We will be announcing those accepted by Saturday 8th April at the latest.

As we have had a few requests for extensions we would like to say that we will allow limited individual extensions. All extensions will be given 3 extra days (i.e. till April 5th), and will not qualify for an app check.

The current distribution of apps is as such:

We do have a bit of a lag between the houses so were are more likely to accept extensions for Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff houses! To this end, if you do require an extensions please send the group a note with the house you have chosen for your character.

We would also like to note that we do have an official invite system where you may purchase a ‘Hogwarts letter’ from the group shops for a friend who is not currently in the group!
